Beachcomber Bar - Barry Island.

Can anyone remember the Beachcomber Bar at Barry Island. Apparently it was the biggest bar in Europe at the time befor it was destroyed by fire only a couple of years after opening, but other than that I cant find any other information about it. i.e where was it, did it house anything else when was it built or when it burnt down etc.
I cant see any mention of it on the maps on this site and cant every remember seeing any postcards of the bar (although the ones of the other camps are quite common).
Any information would be grately appreciated.

Although I don't remember the Beachcomber Bar (too young), I do know whereabouts on the camp it was - behind the chalets on Red Camp, up a bank - there was nothing built on it after it burnt down, just concrete where the floor would have been, I remember my parents telling me that where it was. Thats why its not on the maps - there was nothing there.
