We've had a load of new members recently, and quite a few have asked the same questions, mainly, how do you post photos?
I've just noticed the FAQ button at the top of the forum pages. I've checked it and can say it's very comprehensive, and a useful tool to new members. Check it out!

On the subject of things at the top of the forums page, there is a Usergroups button which when clicked says 'No Groups Exist'. Why don't we set a user group up for each camp, one for Rank, one for Bourne etc. so specific info is easily availiable?

If I could I would, but we need admin to do it (or give me the details to do it) because we don't have moderators to do it.
Out of interest, how would people feel if say the top five posters had a slightly higher security clearence?

kerry if you think the site is boring, nobody forces you to come on and logg in, alot of the post you enter are just chat between you and gbb, if you want to chat why dont you use the chat room, by chattin on the posts it sometimes makes it difficult to carry on the discussions. if it sounds nasty i dont mean it to be, im just expressing an opinion, and i know other people also do it too.

Oh why is everyone whingeing this week! I know you're right, Rainbow - and Worked at Minehead, but I LIKE reading these chats that have got little to do with it. No-one forces anyone to read anything!!
Rant over. Anyway, as to the user groups thingy - I'm with Kerry - you might as well have talked in Mandarin, Dan - I haven't got the faintest idea what you're on about!
As for the higher security clearance thingy, that might make sense, but there would have to be more to it than highest posts. Dan, you know what you're doing (with computers) and are fair, and on here a lot, so you'd get my vote.
Useful post this anyway - I'd forgotten the FAQ thing at the top there.

my point was when you have chats on the topics, especially if its on the 2nd page it makes it hard to know what the topic was actually about in the first place.

Hi Everyone,
My name is Kevin, I am part of the company who proudly sponsors the Butlin?s Memories web-site.
I visit the web-site and forum on a daily basis, ensuring the web-site and forum are performing as they should. I also ensure the daily, weekly and monthly backups are working as planned, ensuring if something did happen to the server, we are able to recover a working backup.
The server we are on now, has been commissioned for another 12 months. We are very happy with this server, it has continually performed very well for us.
I have seen your comments regarding the ?Groups? option. I am going to do some research to find out how these work, what impact it could have on the forum. Once I have come to my conclusion, I will pass on mine and your comments to Glen, the person responsible for this fantastic web-site.
Glen is currently working very hard, the run up to Christmas is the busiest time for him. When he isn?t working and at home (which by the sounds of things, isn?t very often), he likes to spend time with his family. So please be patient.
Warm Regards
Kevin
