Rangers 'til I die. The Queens Park variety.

My Dad loved all sports, except motor-racing, let's be reasonable - sport? And my 'little' (6 foot-odd) brother plays rugby with a passion and has just come back from a tour of Australia playing it. I've never got into it. Why, I wonder? Is it that I miss the dulcet tones of Bill McLaren? Or Eddie Waring? Is it because they changed the theme tune to Rugby Special? Is it the stop-start nature of the game? I mean I used to live down the road from Twickenham and I'd still rather watch the R's.

But I do get angry at how football has gradually encroached its winter sport nature into the cricket season. Middlesex!!!!!

Croydon boy... used to walk to Selhurst Park from home during the 70's/80's - so support my home team.... not like some of you glory hunters who only support the big teams!! he-he

still play the occasional 5-a-side, but at my age takes about a week to recover! Like playing tennis too when I can.

.......and marbles...... used to play in the World Championships - Tinsley Green, Sussex! - Ok don't laugh!!!

Im going to be accused of being boring here but im with Joe, I dont really like much sport, think thats because my PE teacher was a sadist and it put me off.

However I do watch womens tennis :D and I get behind England in the World and Euro cups.

I think people assume that being a hetrosexual male i HAVE to like sport, dont think it makes me less of a man because I dont wanna spend 90 mins of my life every Saturday for 9 months a year sat in the cold watching stupidly paid men kick a bag of air around!

I was so crap at PE that my teacher sent me off the field!

I only ever watch the England footie games, but seem to put the mockers on matches. Every time I tune in Beckham does daft things like kick other players or aim for a goalpost in space and England end up losing!
