I was just wondering does anyone watch redcoats on a thursday nite? n if u do when was it filmed coz it shows a ride at Butlins in Bognor that isn't there anymore.

lol - enjoying this post - for Saturday's FA Cup final I was at Thorpe Park and saw the penalties and bits of the game itself on the big screen - but was obviously trying to make the most of the ?27 entry ticket. It occurred to me that in terms of rides, it was about right that it's about double the price of a day ticket to Butlin's. (I intended to go to Bognor for the day, but it was shut for an adult weekender, Sharky!!! Not blaming you, or anything... :lol: ) There's loads of rides, not only for 'Thrill Seekers', but for Lewis's too - I went to Guest Services first off to find out what a toddler could do, and she said 'Sorry - there isn't that much for toddlers', but by the time we'd been on the half dozen toddler rides a few times and been on the slides in between the downpours and taken the train to the farm and back a couple of times and gone on the Fungle Safari LOADS of times and seen the Ranger Show (like the old Noddy show including meeting the cast afterwards - it lasted a lot longer but wasn't as good, though Lewis loved it, including a great big hug from Cheeky Monkey afterwards - he never did that with Noddy) ..- there was LOADS for a toddler to do for a day. And it's all free once you've paid the extortionate ticket price (he was free, incidentally - I was ?27 and didn't go on anything!!).

Basically, they've got the right idea about charge a fortune, but have loads going on there and don't charge anything else once you're in. Yes, the refreshments were expensive - ?1.20 for a large cardboard cup of tea and ?1.40 for a half or ?2.60 for a pint of Fosters - but that's much of a muchness.

Oh! I remember! The point I was going to make was that the ride that's missing from Bognor is Top Spin. It was the only decent ride for teenagers and they've hived it off to another one - well it's only one of two other camps, isn't it?

they took the top spin to skeggy, apparently its coz they had received complaints about noise at bognor. it hasnt been installed at skeggy yet and prob wont be for a while yet.

Thanks 4 lettin me no. On redcoats they showed u the ride n i didn't think it was that noisy. I think people just like 2 complain as they've got nothing better 2 do.
