After recently visiting Skegness and Minehead for work purposes, My Wife and I stayed in the new Shoreline Hotel for 4 nights this is how we rated the smallest of the remaining Butlins resorts.
The hotel accommodation 10 / 10
Cleanliness 9 / 10
The Fairground 5 / 10
Leisure Facilitiles 7 / 10
Daytime entertainment 5 / 10
Evening entertainment 4 / 10
The Famous Redcoats 5 / 10
Bar staff 8 / 10
Food 8 / 10
We were generally disappointed with the lack of 'STUFF' to do during the day. As an ex Redcoat and entertainment manager the evening entertainment was the worst I had ever seen at Butlins. None of the shows ran on time, the cabaret was of poor quality and the Redcoat shows were very avergae, Not at all what we all expect from the Butlins Brand.
