I received my Center Parcs DVD, Picture Brochure and 'How to Book' guide!
Is it really that hard to book with Center Parcs they have to write a guide about it? :?
I ordered mine last night too... I will more than likely find the guide useful lol!;)

Cut a clearing in the middle of a forest, erect wooden huts, and cut out paths that are not even tarmaced and hay presto a holiday camp. I do nothink so.

Hiya,
Center Parcs charge huge prices for their 'Villas', (they don't call em chalets!), but really the only thing thats free there is the swimming complex. If you want to do anything else then you have to pay for everything. Bad idea, unless you've got loads of cash!

I've just come back from a great weekend at CP (Whinfell Forest). It wasn't that expensive seeing 7 of us (including 3 kids) stayed in the same lodge - and all we wanted to do was swim and 'chill out' a bit.
Just thought I'd jump to their defence as there seems to be a bit of anti-CP feeling!
cheers
Kev
I went to CentreParcs for the first(and last) time last year. I won't say I didn't enjoy it, because I did. However, I am not really a sporting person and that is pretty much all there is to do. I only went because my friend wanted to go. There were only two of us, we took the smallest and cheapest self catering villa??possible, which wasn't cheap at all. With all the activities and food, I ended up spending a lot of money I couldn't really afford on top of what I had already spent. They had just opened a new spa and I did have a lovely spa day there, but again, that was more expense. We went in February and I could have had five days at Bognor Regis in Silver half board accomodation with my my friend for a lot less than we ended up forking out at Centre parcs. Like I say, I did enjoy it, its okay to do once, but I won't be doing it again. From now on I am sticking with what I know and love Butlins!!!
center parCs  is awesome! I use to go every year around December time and it use to be so nice sitting in the cosy villas watching the world go by. Plus the swimming facilities and spa are fantastic.
Unfortunatly due to an accident that happened to my brother last year we wont be going this year :-(

it's depressing. i've only ever been once, and i can't say i'll be going again. purely because of the gloom and snobbery that surrounds the place.
