Centre Parks Review In The Telegraph

That sounds about right. I remember getting there with ?70 spending money for the week and being asked 'Is that all?' The first thing we did was hire bikes for nearly ?30 each and I had to apologize when my step-father paid for it - I said 'I'm sorry - I thought it was like Butlin's: once you've paid, that's it!' They were my exact words. Of course at that point I hadn't been to Butlin's for about 7 years and had no idea that they'd started charging for loads of things there too!!!! However, in Centerparcs favour, the pool was excellent, but no better than Butlin's Spash thingies, I've since discovered. The food was probably better, but more expensive. And you don't get geese doing their business on your terrace at Butlin's. Unless you're in the corner at Minehead....
