Hi I have been going to this park since i was 3 and i have noticed evry year i have been that it just dosn't change much except that i love it sooo much.
When we first went it was owned by Holamarine Holidays back in 1994 then when i went next in 1996 it was owned by Wilson Leisure Now Its Owned By Haven Holidays , the park used to have Apartments Chalets And Lodges , now its all caravans and this was a huge shame because there was nothing wrong with these units , i was just wondering if anyone had any pictures of the chalets/apartments or a Old Park Map if you do please could you send me them i would be so greatfull.
:p Thanks Warren:p

Hi Warren
I also love this holiday park, but have to admit I havent been since 1994, in fact it was my last family holiday. I went in 1987, 88, 91, 93 amd 94 all with my family. It was usually an extra holiday or we went if mum and dad fancied a change from Butlins.
Do you remember the Holiphant Club or the amusement arcade "Holimachines". When I first went there was no indoor pool just an outdoor 1. Children had to be out of the lower floor "clubhouse" by 9pm, the resident house bands were Aquarius (downstairs) and Atlantic City (Upstairs). Aquarius later had a line up change and moved upstairs. You also had to have a club pass if you were over 16.
It had a good boating lake and a great golf course. I also liked the fact it wasnt too big. At night getting back to the caravan was hard work as there was no street lighting, in fact you were told to bring a torch.
The last time I was there in 1994 there was a terrible car smash down that long wooded drive way at the main entrance and we had to use the seafront exit instead.
I wish I had all my holimarine stuff. I do have a Holimarine "Feeling Great in 88" badge and my brothers Holiphant badge.
Im going to Brean Sands in July, so I will investigate Haven I may go back next year.

Hi...
I remember the holiphonafant club , the boating lake closed down in 1995 and was filled in and then a play park was placed their , the indoor pool opened in 1995 and is still the same now , the park is now allot bigger and the clubhouse downstairs is now owners exlcusive only , the clubhouse upstairs is now the showbar and is the family zone , it no longer has the stage at the bottom its much smaller on the left wall their is no balcony in the club either, the outdoor pool has been re done and is a small square , its now all caravans and the lodges have also gone ....
Thanks All The Best

The downstairs club house was never that great anyway. Im surprised the balcony has gone and the stage has moved, I cant even picture what it must look like.
I also remember door security at both bars was provided by middle aged women in navy blue suits!
