Hi people will know i went in july well were off agen to our fave hol , were off nxt tuesday 4nights in a brnze apartment with meals added...
CANT WAIT , I HOPE THAT BUTLINS NAME TOTALLY GETS HAVEN-ISED I WOULD LOVE TO SEE RORY AT SKEGGNESS
*Waits for the angry mob* From what i read here it seems Haven has really turned it to a shadow of what it was. I dont know a single person other than you who prefers it now under haven.
And hopefully Rory will never be at Skegness!

hey wazer iv'e had an idea!!!!!
lets knock the last 3 camps down ,leaving a pile of rubble in they way, take away the last few rides,close all the bars (exept 2) add more tin boxes with windows & lose the butlin name , hell lets go the full hog & call then H......H.......H....... no i cannot bring myself to say it .
what do you think ???

I've been to Hafan Y Mor twice. The first time was when it was a
Butlins and the second when it became a Haven.
It was MUCH better when it was a Butlins camp! It had the chairlift ride,
a cinema and a few fairground rides.
WHY OH WHY did Haven ruin a great camp. :confused: :confused:
Because Haven are Parasites that live of other Businesses Camps.
I went two weeks ago.I stayed in Bronze appartments in old Red camp two rows up from the old playing fields.When we got there the chalet was quite dirty but the chalet was great realy brought back the feel of when it was Butlins as i stayed in them loads of times in the past.they were a nice size aswell much better than those bloody caravans.The caravans are popping up everywhere now on the old Red camp car park the old outdoor pool.There seems to be too many caravans not enough entertainment in my view.But still had a great holiday.As for the bars i think the Bonga Wonga bar is great it has a feel to it like the old French bar,The Boardwalk had shows for the kids in the day but nothing at night its a lot quieter at night and Ceasers showbar i dont like at all i have never liked it even when it was Butlins no atmosphere whatsoever in there they should turn it back into the Gaiety theater and rebuild the Neptune bar.But all in all i had a great holiday.I took some film when i was there on my camera walking up the sideroad to the stables and in the coartyards of the stables there was even a old butlins blanket in there white with the Red Butlins logo on it i would put the clip on here if i knew what to do.

Must of been all the excitement of finding an original blue sink in tact on the wall :):)

Hi Jerry.
It was in the middle of the courtyard.It just looked like a ordinary White indian blanket at first but my brother opened it out with a stick and there it was the Butlins logo on it in Red.The courtyard is all overgrowm grass now.It looked to me as if there was someone squatting in there we found a makeshift cooker in there and loads of food tins.The blanket looked like it had been used also that is why we left it there.

WHAT!!!!!! i dont belive it!!?? you're not trying to tell me i have to travel all that way and go back to..THAT PLACE..to retrive it are you ??:( (only joking);) we were there in june (met joker) didnt see it their then so must have been put there after our trip:) but did find a snake in the courtyard.

so it was JOKER who MISSED the blanket....& not me that makes me feel better lol;)
