Please do take your child Hafan Y Mor is a unforgettable holiday and i must addmit is 100X better than Butlins i really love Hafan Y Mor its really cool the acommadation is outstanding i reccomend A Bronze Half Board Chalet they are soo close to the Funworks centre and Splashzone its amazingly convinient , if you look at the photos to me it looks better now because it not all cramped together , plus get the holiday in before the chalets go they are suppost to be being demolished 2008 at all parks , except apartments and lodges they are 100% safe and i must say these apartments are also fab aswell.
The Facilities are also outstanding 4Star and modern aswell if it was still owned by Butlins i really would be upset because Haven has done wonders to it .
Theres 3 Clubs To Choose From.
Many Food Venues
Half Board Is Fab
Go Karts

Theres just too much to fit in a week

well there you go gem07
both sides of the spectum as to speak, 1 from a 43year old butlinholic and 1 from a 15 year old havenite.the choice is yours....:???: but if you do go dont forget your write up and your pics.
4 star is not the phrase I would have used.
Don't know about a week, a weekend was more than enough for us to see how Bourne have ripped the Butlins we all know out of the site. Unlike the other sites where the old features have been replaced or removed completely at Pwllheli they have been left to decay
The Chalet was like going back in time, Just how I remember them 25 years ago. As for the dinning hall/cuisine I expected Jamie Oliver to pop up and take the turkey twizzlers off the menu. The evening entertainment was a choice of karaoke or some two bob production of Chicago. And Bingo :)
Here's a challenge see if you can find a spot on the camp outside where you can't see a caravan.
On a plus side if you go looking for the old Butlins you will find it in all the undergrowth.
Have Fun !!!

I'm sure kids today will love it as they no no better. For me I'm glad I went but have no intention of going back.

and the riding stables is gone as well. think the buildings are still there tho. and used to love going on the chairlift and seeing the wonderful views of the bay, mountains, camp, sea etc. beautiful.
would still like to go back tho, and take the kids. guess it will be wierd tho if we did decide to go back. :-(

the stables are still there, up by where the lodges are on the opposite side of the park from where the ents complex is. the foundations of the chairlifts are still up on the clifftop, its a really nice walk over there.

I took my son there last yr! it wasn`t to bad for my son who had a good time, thats the real reason for going to these places, as long as you have a break and people watch whilst your son or daughter has a good time.

Hi
Thanks wizebuys i do remember your post now ive seen it again i just wondered if it'd been changed much with in link i posted wazer said about pool being run down and stuff yet in this thread seemed to be praising the camp :o
I used to go when it was butlins as a alternative to going skegness as a kid so with wazer change of mind i just thought maybe some improvements had happened  im sure my mum had a haven leaflet saying it had and shes going this month on some really cheap deal so i'll see what she has too say :D
Id never chance it as a main holiday but thinking if small break appeared at some small price id take a chance if it had some more praise ....looks like usual no good though lol ive heard from freinds who went few years ago that it wasn't know where near same quality as it was as butlins in its time.
