Just found this on the BBC website.

Firefighters tackle centre blaze.

A major fire at a former holiday village on the Isle of Wight is being treated as suspicious.

Fifty firefighters dealt with the blaze at Harcourt Sands, Puckpool Hill, Ryde, in the morning.

What a shame, it was a gr8 park! I was a Warner teamstar at Harcourt in 1993.

when it was called puckpool, before it merged with St Clares next door. I then went there again in 1998 with our local tenants association and I thought it was a lovely camp. Chalets were comfy, sad to see that. I rememebr playing bowls in that bowling alley on my birthday. Shame it had to close. There are so many of these holiday centres closing.
