Hi Paul,

No, Middleton Towers is no more. There's some pictures on www.28dayslater.co.uk somewhere, although it could now be in the archives. cjm may be able to help as he's on there. I know quite a few people went and took pics of the place after it had closed right up to last year, (or could be 2006).

The site is being demolished (if it hasn't already :( ) and new bungalows and apartments built as part of a retirement village. I think (if i remember rightly lol), that the tower and the former pub (was it called the barn? or something like that) is being kept.

Yes I think you are right about the pub. It was there before the camp was built I believe.

It was sad to see some pictures of the Berengaria Theatre being pulled down.
