Pontins in 2008.....how is it????

Hi All,
Thinking of booking a Family Break in Sept but have not been since New Year Millenium...which was Fab!!! We used to go to Brean and was thinking of either Brean, Southport or Prestatyn......give me your wisdom.....I don't expect it to be like it was....nothing is.....but what can I expect. We are 3 generations from aged 4 - 48 so can you give me any advice......seen the prices and they seem very cheap compared to what we used to pay..........

Hi we went to brean for the first time last year with our 3 yr old and had a fantastic time, weve been back a couple of times since and we still loved it, the place does look very run down and the best rooms to go for are club they are clean and come with towels and dove soaps in the bathroom but they are small, the staff work really hard to make sure you have a great time and the blues are great.youve also got the beach and brean leisure park next door but weve never had time todo either were always to busy in pontins hope this helps steve.

I am off to Hemsby in Aug, only ever been to Camber Sands before so wondering if anyone could tell me what this site was like?

Had a good birthday weekend at Hemsby the only thing I didnt like was the fact that only 1 club was open in August and inside there was a daily range of funny smells! The blue coats in the Queen Vic were great though!!!!
