Well we have just returned from a 4 day break in Sinah Warren which we took my in laws too as there annual holiday, all I can say it it was beautiful. I am a Minehead girl through and through but feel that my loyalties may now have changed to Warners and I will only go to Minehead to either stay in our caravan or for adults weekends-so here is a small review
We got greeted at the gate by a lovely guy who checked us in and told us where to park, we then walked round the grounds which were beautiful, so much care has gone into all the gardens and surrounding areas. We then went to reception to collect our keys and got shown to our rooms with concierge carrying our bags!
The room was a signature room, the bed was huge with about 4 pillows each and extra bedding in the wardrobe. The room also had a mini bar with reasonable prices, loads of wardrobe space and a bath and shower! We also had a patio area outside with table and chairs with a view of the sea. The room was serviced daily to a high standard and coffee, tea, biscuits and hot chocolate was replenished. A tour of the hotel was happening at this time which we declined but we were asked to go to the hotel to discuss dietary requirements with the chef and also be shown to our table!!
The food was out of this world, breakfast was cereals, fruit, yoghurts, full english, fresh pancakes and poached eggs and to the table you could order danish pastries, toast and fish! Evening meal again was a starter brought to your table (a choice of 5) a salad bar, carvery or food served to your table from the menu. Desserts again were served to your table (a choice of 5) and meals were always followed by tea/coffee and mints. We had the same waitress the whole weekend who was lovely, and the entertainment team walked round the dining table asking people if they could join them for meals.
During the day entertainment was quizzes, walks, drawing sessions, line dancing, ballroom dancing, outside games such as croquet, archery, bowls and putting (all free) and evenings were big style shows such as a live comedian, dog racing on the big screen an Elvis tribute and the entertainment teams own through the years show, in between was more ballroom dancing.
The additional bonus was a lovely outdoor pool which was heated to 30 degrees and an indoor pool with sauna, jacuzzi and steam room.
So negatives, no children and the age of most of the guests was over 50- but bleeding heck they know how to enjoy themselves and were still partying to 3am at the late night casino, disco and karaoke.
Loved it so much, we have booked again next August-yes its expensive at 500 for a couple for a long weekend but well worth every penny!
