while we were at minehead i took my children round the camp to explain what it was like when i was their age at butlins and what there was to do etc when i came across somerset row.
the only old chalet line that had not been converted.
now you try telling my kids that if you wanted to go for a pee in the night you had to run across to the nearest toilet block they just laughed.
but it was true and i dont know but they may well be the last of their kind.
the row is all boarded uop and used for storage with the few old chalets on each end but it does bring back a few good memories.
