Well, many years later and it seems Blueskies is going to end. All members have received a letter asking them if they would like to close the scheme as they aren't making enough money. From what I can tell, its a done deal

Or are they closing it so they can reopen it as a Butlins hotel instead? Maybe they will do that instead of demolishing the remaining standard chalets to build a new hotel? KAF

I think it's been possible to book to stay at Blueskies for a long while, just not publicised very much. I can imagine that they will open it up to more bookings in future

Interesting. I'm considering going to Minehead next year and would stay at Blueskies if it's an option. Last time i was there in 2007 they were chasing people to give tours. I looked on Butlins' website a couple of weeks ago and there is no option to book blueskies or the lakeside chalets.

I just tried a dummy search for next May half term and the options for Lakeside and Blueskies both appear once you select apartment on the first screen

Wow nearly 10 years since I made this thread

Not cheap to stay in Blueskies for a week judging by the dummy booking. 1200 for a week family of 4 OUCH
