Thanks! I honestly don't know about a discount for booking so long (other than the premier club 5% of course). I should give them a call and ask about it once I'm ready to book I guess. No harm in asking

I have been checking the prices for the last few days and they are going down slightly at the moment so I will try to book when they're as low as I think they're likely to go, but I won't wait until they've almost run out of chalets because then I would potentially risk ruining the whole holiday by having a section missing!

Me too!! I read this post before reading the other one (which says Push is thinking of going for a month), and my mouth fell open as I couldn't understand why he'd suddenly decided to go for an adult weekender - LOL. Yes, I agree it will be interesting to watch it change from family to adult and back again. Can't wait to read your report, Push!!

Looking forward to seeing it myself, at least then I'll know for sure if I like the adult weekends or not. Only danger being that I might like them too much and find myself having to fly to Britain every weekend for it, which would mean having to get a veyr high paying job!!!

Don't worry, there are only 25 different dates announced for next year (see here) so it would only be once every other week on average!!

It looks as if there are two adult weekenders at Minehead during October 09, Push (2nd and 16th October). Unless your holiday does not start until after the 2nd Oct, that is!!

Line-up for 2 October “80s Madness” adult weekender:

Headliners: Bad Manners, Dr & the Medics, Musical Youth, Nathan Moore.
Also appearing: Bucks Fizz, Keith Harris & Orville, Mercury, Mikki Jay as Michael Jackson, Then Jericho, Jamie and the First Class, Nick Heyward.

Line-up for 16 October for the “We Love the 70s” adult weekender:

Headliners: Alvin Stardust, Brotherhood of Man, Les McKeown’s Legendary Bay City Rollers, The Real Thing.
Also appearing: Jimmy Love as Elton John, Keith Harris & Orville, Nigi Brown as Tina Turner, Simon Abbots as Tom Jones, The Rubettes, plus “other great acts to be announced”.

Anything grab your attention here, I wonder?!!
